• Abstract:
  In this note, we give a rather informal overview (including two diagrams) of the proof given in our paper "Borel Conjecture and Dual Borel Conjecture" [Sh:969] (let us call it the "main paper"). This overview was originally a section in the main paper (the section following the introduction), but the referee found it not so illuminating, so we removed it from the main paper.

  Since we think the introduction may be helpful to some readers (as opposed to the referee, who found the diagrams "mystifying") we preserve it in this form. The overview is supposed to complement the paper, and not to be read independently. The emphasis of this note is on giving the reader some vague understanding, at the expense of correctness of the claims.
